In anticipation for World Student Environmental Summit 2013, we are now looking for a potential host.
As the first step, we are making a call of interest for all those who would like to organize and execute the summit at their university. Things to consider when offering to host:
- That you would have the passion and drive to work for one year to make the summit possible.
- That you can think of others at your university who would be equally as interested in engaging in this learning and experience building opportunity.
- That you think your university would also be on board. If you personally know any officials and hear that they would interested, that's great!
If you are interested in getting involved, gathering experience, and being part of the legacy of the summits, express your interest through an e-mail to
firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send over an application form. From there we will work together and look further into the details of hosting a summit, such as the costs involved with hosting 80 people, time lines etc.
We will announce the selected university in June, with the official sculpture being passed over at WSES 2012 this coming September in Lausanne.
Attached you will find a link for information from the former summits in order to contextualize the commitment involved with hosting: former budgets and programs
If you have any questions, feel free to ask and we look forward to hearing from you!
