WSEN Global Summit 2016 in the UK

In 2016, the 9th WSEN Global Summit will take place in the United Kingdom. The joint bid of students from Keele University and the University of Sussex won the highly competitive application process. Members of the WSEN International Committee selected the British application as it was thought through and innovative. The WSEN International Committee is looking forward to working with the English team to create a unique WSEN Global Summit in the next coming months.

In May 2015, members of the WSEN International Committee and of the British organising team have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This document regulates the rights and obligations of both sides to ensure an effective and positive collaboration between the two teams. First information have been exchanged. After the 2015 WSEN Global Summit the collaboration will be intensified.

There is a facebook side which provides everyone with information on the developments in England. If you want to get in contact, with the WSEN 2016 organising team, you can write an email.
Read here the press release of the British team about the won bid and first reactions from both universities.

Student of Keele University joint a summit for the first time in 2013 for the 6th WSES in Lüneburg, Germany. The WSEN welcomes the University of Sussex to the network of universities sending students to the WSEN Global Summits.
